Dog Loose in the Community - Update

The black and white Pittbull dog has been rescued and will no longer be roaming the neighborhood. He is currently at the Elbert Sheriff’s office and is awaiting adoption. If you or anyone you know who would be interested in adopting him, please contact the Sheriff’s office at (303) 621-2027 extension 3. He is a sweet dog, very playful and loving. Dogs Running Loose within Community

Please make sure that you keep all pets contained on your property at all times or when they are off your property, you have them secured on a leash.  If you see your neighbor's dogs throughout the community, please let them know so your neighbors can make changes to ensure their pets remain safe.

This is a reminder as there has been one dog wandering the community.  This dog is a male pit-bull, fully intact.  He is white with some black markings, including black markings over one eye.  The dog appears friendly and in good health.  He does not have a collar.
